Dr Sarah Girdler

I am a small animal veterinarian excited to start my career serving the Devonport and Burnie community! I was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, and developed my love for animals from a young age through spending time on my grandparents’ sheep farm in Albany.

I graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Murdoch University and absolutely loved my time there. My main interest is in small animal medicine, and I am passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care to my patients.

Outside of work, I am very much looking forward to exploring Tasmania’s beautiful northern coastline, discovering new hikes, and experiencing the incredible wildlife the region has to offer!
