Dr Jess Parris

I’m a small animal veterinarian, looking forward to working on the beautiful northern coast of Tasmania. I’m originally from Melbourne and moved to sunny Perth to study a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Murdoch University.

I knew I wanted to become a veterinarian from a young age, having grown up with a menagerie of dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens, who I loved to care for and learn more about. I have developed an interest in small animal medicine, wildlife, and conservation.

I am passionate about providing excellent care to my patients. I’m looking forward to developing meaningful and supportive client and pet relationships.

I also love hiking, reading, and spending time at the beach in my spare time. I’m excited to explore the beautiful nature Tasmania has to offer!
